Perry Tallie, age 64, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16.

The visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Mike Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Old Shelby Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Tallie is survived by his wife, Margaret “Sissy” Tallie; children, Jamie Barnes (Randall), Ryan Tallie (Jody), Maridale Nickolson (Sharon), and Yates Brown; grandchildren, Owen Barnes, Sam Tallie, Joseph Tallie, John Charles Tallie, Stephanie King, and Lacey King; brother, Ronnie Tallie (Marlene); and nieces and nephews, Thomas Tallie, Beverly Carter, Julie Tallie, and Jessica Bady.
