ALABASTER – The Alabaster City Council will continue to meet on the first and third Mondays of each month through 2019, and has modified a few of its meeting dates to avoid meeting on holidays.

During a recent meeting, council members voted to modify regular meeting dates in January and September, as they conflicted with holidays.

The meeting originally scheduled for Monday, Jan. 21, will be moved to Tuesday, Jan 22, because of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The meeting originally scheduled for Monday, Sept. 2, will instead be on Tuesday, Sept. 3, because of the Labor Day holiday.

All City Council meetings begin at 7 p.m. at Alabaster City Hall at 1953 Municipal Way, with pre-meetings held at 6 p.m. The council typically holds work sessions the week before each regularly scheduled meeting.

The council will meet on the following dates in 2019:
