James C. “Jim” Campbell, age 76, of Columbiana, passed away Sunday, Dec. 9.
The visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 13 at Pinelawn Gardens with Rev. Chris Beck officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.
James graduated from Ensley High School in 1960. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany for three years. He graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1968, where he met his lovely wife, Glenda Templin. As an avid Bama fan, he instilled the love of football and the University of Alabama in his children for generations to come.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife, Glenda Templin Campbell; children, Allison Martin (Leith) and Jimmy Campbell (Dana); sisters, Sue Henry (Johnny) and Donna Tagliareni (Paul); and eight grandchildren, Brooks, Caroline, Max, Cooper, Scarlett, Jacob, David, and Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kingdom Volunteer Fire Department, 3471 Hwy 28, Columbiana, AL 35051.
