COLUMBIANA – Singing, dancing and the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree at the corner of Main and College streets will precede the 16^th annual Columbiana Christmas Parade on Thursday, Dec. 6.

The festivities will start with Christmas carols by Mike Mason at 5:15 p.m.

Dream Makers Dance members will perform at 6 p.m., and Miss Shelby County Makalyn Heaslett and Miss Shelby County Outstanding Teen Desaray Stone will sign autographs at the Christmas tree.

The parade will start at 7 p.m. in front of Elvin Hill Elementary School. Allen Reynolds, Columbiana’s director of streets and maintenance, will serve as grand marshal.
