Joseph Dupriest, age 55, of Columbiana, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21.

The visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Ray Dunmyer officiating. Burial will follow at Columbiana City Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Dupriest was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a former Birmingham police officer and funeral director.

Mr. Dupriest is preceded in death by his mother, Jennie Faye Dupriest.

He is survived by his wife, Donette Dupriest; son, Brenton Dupriest (Nicole); daughters, Nicci Griffin, Brandy Griffin, and Stormie Smith; father, Jim Dupriest; nine grandchildren; sister, Anell Mooney (Mike); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
