ALABASTER – Creek View Elementary School will give locals a chance to get into the Christmas spirit while raising money for the school in late November.

The CVES parent-teacher organization will host its Winter Wonderland event at the school off Shelby County 17 from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30.

The event is open to the public, and admission is $5 per person or $20 per family.

Food, shopping and a silent auction will be available for an additional charge, and all proceeds from the event will be used to support the school.

Event attendees will have a chance to enjoy photos with Santa Claus, local vendors, crafts, games, balloon animals, a cakewalk, silent auction and great food, according to the event’s organizers.

CVES is located at 8568 Highway 17 in Maylene.
