ALABASTER – The Angel Warriors Foundation will give local individuals with special needs and their families a chance to get into the Christmas spirit in early December during the organization’s annual Sensory Santa event.

The Sensory Santa event will be from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Alabaster First United Methodist Church’s Restore building at 128 Market Center Drive in Alabaster.

During the event, individuals with special needs and their immediate family members will be able to join Santa Claus and his elves for a free sensory-friendly afternoon, including Santa photos and other fun activities, said Jamia Alexander-Williams with the Angel Warriors Foundation.

The event is being sponsored by Angel Warriors and the Autism Society of Alabama.
