Mary Ruth Sims Morris, age 85, of Fourmile, passed away Monday, Nov. 5.

The visitation will be Friday, Nov. 9 from 10-11 a.m. at Fourmile Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the church with Rev. Gary Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Fourmile Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by husband, Earl Morris; and sisters, Violet Roper, Dorothy Adcock, Sarah Sims, and Bobbie Nell Whitten.

She is survived by her son, Benny Morris; daughters, Emily Gravitt (Larry), Kay Wallace (Steve), Melanie Siow (Chung); brother, Herbert Sims; sister, Pauline Ingram; grandchildren, Ben Morris (Lisa), Paul Morris (Cameron), Hayden Wallace (Matt), Abbey Heiman (Alan), Bret Wallace, John Patrick Gravitt, Maria Siow; great grandchildren, Memphis Morris, Hollis Morris, Carson Edinger; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Morris was a lifelong resident of the Fourmile Community and a devoted member of Fourmile Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and her church family.
