PELHAM – The Pelham Public Library recently announced several events taking place in November.

Ask a Financial Pro – Tuesday, Nov. 6, 10-11 a.m. and Thursday, Nov. 8, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Debra Cinquemani, a certified financial planner, is available to meet with anyone who is interested in asking questions about their finances. The service is free. For more information, you can call ahead of time to schedule to meet with her at 822-9590, or meet her at the library. It will be first come, first serve, unless you have an appointment.

¡Spanish Conversation Table! – Thursdays, Nov. 1 and 15, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Do you speak Spanish but need the opportunity to practice with others? Did you take Spanish classes, study abroad, or go on missions’ trips to Spanish speaking countries? If so, this is the perfect group for you. Our language conversation table offers the opportunity to practice with others. We’ll come together to practice and learn in a fun and casual environment. Registration is not required.

Understanding Medicare Seminar – Thursday, Nov. 8, noon to 1 p.m.
Does Medicare confuse you? Get answers at this seminar provided by a Medicare advisor from Physicians Mutual. The presentation simplifies complex issues such as the Medicare parts, enrolling and more. Hundreds age into Medicare each month in this area. It is a complex and confusing process for most individuals. Attend this program and get the facts. The seminar is free and open to the public. For more information, please call the library at 620-6418.

Free Resume Workshop – Saturday, Nov. 10, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Are you having trouble getting your resume noticed by potential employers? Do you need help updating your resume? HotelPro is using their 15-year knowledge base to help individuals with sharpening skill sets that will help obtain employment. They are partnering with Pelham Public Library to host a resume workshop. During the resume class, each individual will learn the correct form of a resume and how to sharpen their own resume. Seating is extremely limited. If interested, please call the library at 620-6418 to reserve a seat.

Adult Chess Night – Thursday, Nov. 29, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The Adult Chess Night takes place the last Thursday of the month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. No registration needed. All games are provided and all player levels are welcome. Ages 18 and up.
