Jerald Edward Horton, age 79, of Columbiana, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, at his home in the Summer Hill community after battling cancer.

The visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Summer Hill Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m., at the church with Rev. Wayne Horton officiating. Burial will follow at Summer Hill Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Horton is survived by his wife, Geraldine Horton; children, Sheila Irene Horton, Shellye Thomas (Clint), Rickey Wright, and Misty Stuman (Brian); grandchildren, Cassidy Goggins (Emily), Zoe, Sterling, and Trinity Thomas, and Logan, Luke, and Mark Stuman; great grandchildren, Mila and Zalynn Goggins; sister, Vaudine White; and numerous other family and friends.
