Herman “Harold” Rich, Sr., age 80, of Westover, passed away Friday, Oct. 19.

The visitation was Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service was Monday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Signal Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Irvin officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Signal Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home directed.

Mr. Rich was a long-time owner of Harold Rich Construction, a deacon of Mt. Signal Baptist Church, and a championship fisherman. He loved God, his wife, his family, crappie fishing and Alabama football.

Mr. Rich is preceded in death by his son, Herman Harold Rich, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Powers Rich; son, Timothy Rich (Brenda); grandsons, Ryan Rich (Lauren), Eric Rich, and Mason Rich; great granddaughter, Vivi Kay Rich; and great grandson, Walker Harold Rich.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Signal Cemetery Fund, 7491 Old Hwy 280, Sterrett, AL 35147.
