HOOVER – A public forum to discuss the proposed relocation of Medical West Hospital to Hoover will take place on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2:30 p.m.

The forum will be held in the banquet room of the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium located at 100 Ben Chapman Drive.

Attendees should enter on the third base side of the stadium and proceed to the second floor banquet area.

The forum is open to the public.

The forum will conclude at 4 p.m. and will consist of a brief overview of the project and input from those in attendance.

“I look forward to being with my fellow city leaders, Hoover’s residents and project stakeholders as we dialog about this proposal and its impact on the city of Hoover,” Hoover City Councilman John Lyda said. “Ensuring the needs of our community are met in a fiscally responsible manner continues to be my No. 1 priority. This will be the first opportunity to hear from the citizens on this important project and will serve as a vital next step in the process.”
