HELENA – Old Town Helena is one of the best places to be for the holiday season with numerous events such as Helena First Friday, the Helena Christmas Parade and the holiday shopping opportunities available at several local businesses.

One more event that will help kick off the Christmas season this year will be “A Helena Christmas to Remember.”

The Helena Beautification Board along with the Helena Business Association’s Helena First Friday have partnered to present the annual Christmas kick off that will feature festivities for the entire family.

The event is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. with a holiday themed First Friday. Old Town Helena will be lined with local makers, vendors, live music and food trucks for all to enjoy throughout the evening.

The Christmas Tree Lighting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Welcome Center Caboose with performances from local choirs.

To cap off the event, the grand marshal of the Helena Christmas parade will be illuminating the city’s 15-foot Christmas tree to officially ring in the holiday season. Residents are encouraged to bring the family to enjoy the night full of fun at “A Helena Christmas to Remember.”

Updates and full details will be posted on the Helena Beautiful Facebook event page and at HelenaBeautiful.com.
