HELENA – The city of Helena may not have an actual brick and mortar store for the popular fast food chain Chick-fil-A, but another nearby restaurant has teamed up with a local church to bring the next best thing to Helena once a week.

Chick-fil-A located in The Grove shopping center in Hoover has teamed up with First Baptist Church of Helena to bring a curbside service to Helena every Thursday night by the church’s sign located near the intersection of Shelby County 52 West and Helena Road.

The curbside service began on Thursday, Oct. 4, and will take place every following Thursday from 4-7 p.m. for those wanting a bite to eat on their commute home from work, school or any other occasion.

Customers will have the opportunity to purchase menu items such as an original or spicy chicken sandwich, a grilled chicken cool wrap, waffle chips, cookies, bottled water, sweet tea or lemonade. The curbside service accepts cash or credit cards for a 35 cent fee.

First Baptist Church Helena is located at 815 Shelby County 52.
