Martha Faye Mitchell, age 83, of Maylene, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27.

The visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10-11 a.m. at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the funeral home with Rev. George Golden officiating. Burial will follow at Elliottsville Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Mitchell is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. BB and Ellen Kirby; eight brothers and sisters; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James C. Mitchell; son, Harold Mitchell (Susan); grandchildren, Kirby Leigh Mitchell and Drake Timothy Mitchell; and twin sister, Mary Castleberry.
