Morris Lee Holcomb, of Montevallo, went home to meet his Lord and Savior ON Tuesday, Sept. 11 at the age of 88. Morris was an Alabama native, born and raised in Winfield.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Hattie Holcomb, and his sister, Mattie Florence Spalding.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Holcomb; son, Gary Lee Holcomb (Donna); daughters, Linda Gail Holcomb Dockins (Joe), and Michelle Holcomb Joiner (David); six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation was held Friday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. Burial was at Montevallo City Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Comfort Care hospice for the care and support they provided.

Mr. Morris Holcomb was a loving husband, father, and friend whose love of life and laughter will be dearly missed.
