Gisela Meherg, age 86, of Westover, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12.

The visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 16 from 2-2:30 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Lisa Shirley officiating. Burial will follow at Harpersville City Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Meherg is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dewey Meherg.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia “Gini” Meherg Hyde (Ken); grandchildren, Kenneth Paul Hyde (Tiffany), Matthew Wayne Hyde (Brittany), and Kimberly Danielle Hyde Posey (Craig); six great grandchildren, Grayson, Kendall, Hunter, Maddux, Olivia, and Wyatt; and sister, Irmgard Orth.
