Raymundo Armendariz Sanchez, age 55, of Alabaster, passed away Monday, Sept. 10.

Private family memorial service will be held at Rockos Funeral Home in Montevallo.

Mr. Armendariz was an amazing person who always cared about everyone around him before he cared for himself. He made a great impact on many peoples life by helping them when in need. He will always be remembered as

“El Mejor,” which means the best. He was loved by everyone he came across with and was always making friends and finding the best in people. He will be truly missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Acuna Segovia; sons, Raymundo Armendariz and Roy Armendariz; granddaughter, Kaylee Armendariz Corona; grandson, Jonathan Armendariz Farias; daughter-in-laws, Viridiana Corona Romero and Yadira Farias Martinez; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of dear friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to ComfortCare Hospice and all of its caring nurses.
