Bulls Babes auditions to be held at PCC

PELHAM – The Birmingham Bulls hockey organization is in search of women interested in becoming a Bulls Babe.
Auditions will be Saturday, Sept. 22, from 8:30-11 a.m. at the Pelham Civic Complex.
Bulls Babes will represent the Birmingham Bulls organization on and off the ice. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: cleaning the ice during media timeouts, performing on-ice routines before and during the game, performing short dance and cheer routines in the stands, participating in on-camera promotions during the game, visiting ticket holders during the game, appearing at community events, and assisting various departments within the Bulls organization including marketing, community relations, fan development and charities.
The audition will consist of an interview and ice skating skills evaluation, which will include skating forward and backward, stopping, forward cross-overs in a circle and backward cross-overs in a circle. Ice skating experience is not a requirement but it is preferred. Skating lessons can be provided.
Applicants should wear a two-piece outfit consisting of preferably black yoga pants and a sports bra or crop top. Professional looking hair and make-up is encouraged.
Applicants should bring valid identification, a jacket because it may be cold in the waiting area, water and snacks, and personal items such as a brush, makeup, mirror, etc. Applicants can bring their own skates or skates will be provided if needed.
The judges are looking for talented, charismatic, and outgoing individuals to become Birmingham Bulls Babes. Applicants will be judged on personality, skating ability, attitude and energy, professionalism, poise, communication skills and commitment to uphold the tradition and history of the Birmingham Bulls.
Applicants must be able to work the majority of the 2018-19 Bulls home games. Some non-game day events and appearances may also be needed. The basic uniform is provided to those selected at no cost, but must be returned at the end of the season.
