James Howard Storey, age 89, of Wilsonville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6.

The visitation will be Monday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at South Shelby Baptist in Shelby. The funeral service will be at 12 p.m., Monday, Sept. 10 at the church with Rev. David Warren and Rev. David Wooten officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Storey is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria June Storey, and daughters, Cheryle Storey Moore and Carole Storey.

He is survived by his children, son, Greg Storey (Darlene); grandson, Rocky Moore (Jennifer); granddaughters, Rachel Bevilacqua (Joe), Kendell Potts, and Leigh Hunt (Nathan); nine great grandchildren, Gregory, Natalie, Wyatt, Madison, Katharine, Emerson, Violet, Hannah, and Patton; sisters, Sue Burns and Jane Whitman.
