PELHAM – The Pelham Police Department launched its new website, PelhamPD.com, on Friday, July 27.

“Our goal is simple,” the PPD posted on its Facebook page. “We want to be accessible to you, and we believe this site is the next step in achieving that goal.”

The website includes phone and email information for the department’s command staff, supervisors, criminal investigations, specialty units and the community relations coordinator.

Residents also have access to easy-to-fill-out forms to request extra patrols in a certain area, for nonemergency concerns and anonymous tips. Information, such as news releases, a sex offender locator, safety tips and general PPD news can also be found on the site, as well as links to the PPD’s social media pages.

Those hoping to become employed by the PPD can find information about recruiting and job applications.

“We’ve uploaded tons of photos and videos, so we hope you’ll take a look,” the PPD posted.
