James Gipson, age 93, of Vincent, passed away Wednesday, July 25.

The visitation will be Saturday, July 28 from 12-1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Vincent. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Bro. David Houston, Rev. Paul Green, and Rev. Jason Allums officiating. Burial will follow at Vincent City Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Gipson spent over 70 years in the construction business and was loved by everyone he came into contact with.

Mr. Gipson is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Lola Mae Gipson; and sons, Grover and James Earl Gipson.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Gipson; children, Gail, Pat, Debbie, and Brenda; stepchildren, Cindy and Tim Allen, Gina and Steve Chesser, and Kim Blankenship; brother, Martin Gibson; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
