Memorial service for James Ronald Abbott, age 68, of Harpersville were Monday, July 16 at p.m. at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Thompson officiating. Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Abbott was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Sue Abbott; daughter, Tammy Ramsey; grandchildren, Zachary Abbott and Jessica Ramsey; great grandchildren: Zoey Abbott, Skylar Lewis, Kayden Lewis, and Landan Lewis; son, Rodney Abbot and wife Joy; grandchildren, Tristan, Alexa and Lucas Abbott; brothers, Kenny, Glenn and

Tony Abbott; sister, Beverly Gooden; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
