Donel Leslie DeFreese, age 55, passed away on Thursday, July 5. He was born on Jan. 1, 1963.

He is survived by his parents, Almarie Shults Tyson and Donald Lloyd DeFreese (Charlotte); his brothers, Travis Whitmore DeFreese and Paul Gavin DeFreese (Nun); his sister, Ann Davis (Bill); his niece, Olivia Davis; and his nephews, William Fredric DeFreese and John Andrew DeFreese.
