Florence Peel Jenkins, of Helena, passed away Monday, June 4, at the age of 88. She was born on Aug. 3, 1929.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hershel Jenkins; and her son, Charles Thomas Jenkins.

Florence is survived by her daughter, Sandra Jenkins Srygley; daughter in law, Karen Jenkins; Brother, Thomas Peel; sister, Ella Fay Paulk; sisters in law, Lois Peel and Evelyn Jenkins; 4 grandchildren, Amy Srygley Millette (Lance), Anthony Srygley (Jenny), Daniel Jenkins (Nicole), and Laura Holloway (Terrance); 13 great-grandchildren, Brooke, Owen, Hallie, Hannah, Preston, Makayla, Morgan, Leanna, Natalie, Weston, Thomas, Aaron, and Jade; one great-great-grandson, Dawson; Macon Srygley (Trecia); and a host of nieces, nephews, foster children, and extended family.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 7 from 12-2 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South with Bro. Bobby Boles and Bro. Jodey Hogeland officiating.
