Wales Foster, age 79, of Alabaster, passed away Sunday, May 27.

The visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 31 at the funeral home with Rev. Beau Brown and Rev. Keith Jones officiating. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Foster was a loving husband, father, and son and a dedicated Christian. He served his country for four years in the Air Force. He worked for Alabama Power Company for 35 years. He lived most of his life in and around Wilsonville. He was a talented carpenter and an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Mr. Foster is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Naomi Foster; and an infant son, Randall Wales Foster.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Foster; children, Rhonda Wegrich (Richard) and Brian Foster; and granddaughter, Kimberly Irelan (Brian).
