Nanette Elaine Point Joiner, age 44, of Columbiana, passed away suddenly Friday, April 20.

A private family service will be held this week. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Ms. Joiner is preceded in death by her stepfather, James D. Oliver, and stepbrother, Greg Oliver.

She is survived by her parents, Nancee Oliver and Charles W. Point Jr.; children, Wesley Stephen Joiner, Jr., Gage Sorrell Justice, and Natalee Jade Justice; sister, Heather Shaw (Jim); step-sisters, Vicki Oliver and Gail Thomas, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ms. Joiner was born in Birmingham and was a long time resident of Columbiana. Her children were the lights of her life and her kind heart was seen before and after motherhood as she cared for countless orphaned and rescued animals. Her smile and laughter illuminated even the darkest room. She is deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.
