Funeral services for Mrs. Frances J. Warren of Calcis will be Thursday April 12 at 3 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City with burial in Macedonia North Highway 231 North, Vincent. Visitation begins at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Warren was born Feb. 7, 1927 at the home of her maternal grandparents, Milton and Alice Clinkscales of Route 2 Vincent.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H. R. (Herbert Russell) and Kate Clinkscales Justice; brother, Tillman Eugene Justice; and husband of 63 years, Thomas Ernest Warren.

She is survived by brothers, Herman Bryant Justice (Katherine), Harold R. Justice (Gail), and sisters, Sarah Malcolm and Martha Anne Abernathy.

She is also survived by her daughter and son in law, Tommie and Ralph Usry of Calcis; son and daughter in law, Russell and Renee’ Warren of Irondale; grandchildren R. D. Warren II (Paula) of Mountain Brook, Rachael Warren of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Calla Warren of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Russell D. (Trey) Warren III and Charlotte Mae Warren of Mountain Brook; special friend, Kay Wood Peters of Deatsville; along with many nieces and nephews.

She graduated Vincent High School in May 1944 and Massey Business College in October 1945. Most of her working career was with her father at H. R. Justice Store in Calcis and after his retirement was the owner/operator of the store until her retirement in February 1992.
