ALABASTER – Doctors and staff at Southeast Gastro celebrated the business’s re-naming and relocation at a ribbon cutting on the afternoon of Thursday, April 5. Southeast Gastro’s new location is in Suite 220 at 10222 First Street North in Alabaster.

Southeast Gastro was previously known as Gastroenterology Associates of Central Alabama and was located in the North Shelby Baptist Medical Center physicians building, according to gastroenterologist Robert Loudin.

Loudin said the new location includes more office space and more exam rooms, and will enable himself and his fellow doctors to serve more patients.

“This office allows us to provide excellent patient care to the community,” Loudin said.

Office manager and RN Selina Stovall said the increase in space allowed Southeast Gastro to hire more staff and gives the location a more updated look.

“It has a modern touch, more room and it’s more patient friendly,” Stovall said. “The extra space allows us to serve at a larger capacity.”

Mayor Marty Handlon expressed her appreciation for Southeast Gastro’s decision to stay within the city.

“Thank you all for continuing to be a part of Alabaster’s business community and growing medical community,” Handlon said. “We wish you all the success at your new location.”
