Kindergarten registration for Pelham schools coming soon

PELHAM – Pelham Oaks Elementary and Pelham Ridge Elementary will be holding registration events in April for students who will be entering kindergarten in the 2018-2019 school year.

The dates and times are:
-Tuesday, April 10, from 8 a.m. to noon at Pelham Oaks and Pelham Ridge.
-Thursday, April 12, from 2-6 p.m. at Pelham Oaks and Pelham Ridge.

To register for kindergarten, several documents are required. Parents/legal guardians should bring all documents to registration.

What to Bring:
-Parent or legal guardian must enroll the student.
-A photo ID is required.
-Valid Alabama immunization form for student.
-Birth certificate for student.
-Social Security Card for student (not mandatory, but if you would like to use for student identification purposes, please bring the card).
-Custody papers, if applicable. Final/current order with judge’s signature must be submitted.
-Proof of residence

All students are required to provide two of the following current residence verification documents and the documents must be in parent/legal guardian’s name. Accepted documents include a current utility bill or utility deposit receipt (two different utility bills or receipts are acceptable), a current lease agreement or a receipt for rent or house payment with the address included, a current U.S. government communication, a property deed, current home owner’s or renter’s insurance policy and a current vehicle registration.
