HELENA–Spring officially sprung the weekend of March 24 at Helena Hollow, formerly known as Griffin Farms.
Thousands attended the farm for the inaugural Bunny Hop at Helena Hollow Egg Hunt and Spring Celebration as there was something fun for the whole family.
Between March 24-25, customers could enjoy plenty of fun including a hayride to the egg hunt and prizes, a visit from the Easter bunny and pictures, silo playhouses, petting zoo access, tire mountain, rope climbs and tire swings, a bounce house, truck slides and landslides, a mechanical bull ride and more for $8 admission.
Adults that attended the event were able to enjoy more than 40 craft vendors and food truck dining. Live music and kiddie karaoke also took place at the Bunny Hop event.
Hoover resident Chelsea Andrews attended the Bunny Hop event on Saturday, March 24, with her son Mason and daughter Micah after hearing about the event through a family member.
“This is our first time coming to Helena Hollow and I heard about the event through my sister-in-law,” Andrews said. “We’ve been to other events at other places but the amount of open space here is really nice. We’ve had a great time.”
For hours, families had the opportunity to create memories by taking advantage of all the games and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny, all while not having to leave the farm because of the food truck options available.
Helena Hollow is located at 6027 Shelby County 17 where they host weddings, receptions, corporate events, birthday parties, retirement and anniversary parties baby and wedding showers and more.
