FROM STAFF REPORTS
The annual Mt Laurel Spring Festival will be held Saturday, April 7, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
As the flowers bloom in the beautiful town of Mt Laurel, the Mt Laurel Spring Festival returns, offering guests the opportunity to shop vibrant street fair, savor dishes from the best local food trucks and enjoy a day strolling the idyllic streets of one of Birmingham’s best neighborhoods.
The Mt Laurel Spring Festival, now in its 18th year, has continually grown to be a premier family event.
Visitors can enjoy shopping at the many artisan and farmer pop-up booths, watching live music on the Bryson Square Stage and savoring delicious eats at Mt Laurel restaurants and Birmingham food trucks.
More than 200 arts and crafts vendors and farmers will fill the Town Center during the festival. Shoppers will find beautiful artwork, handmade home décor pieces, pottery, jewelry, clothing and more from a variety of local vendors.
Mt Laurel restaurants and Birmingham food trucks such as Jim N’ Nicks, Cantina on Wheels, and Eugene’s Hot Chicken will be serving delicious food for attendees.
Fresh, seasonal produce from area farmers will also be available. From art and handmade goods, to wood work, clothing, soaps, and more, every “locally-made enthusiast” will find something to take home.
In the middle of the Town Center, the Bryson Square Stage will host entertainment throughout the festival. Organizers thanked Mason Music for sponsoring the Bryson Square stage.
Up and coming musicians as well as popular local acts will draw a crowd. Performances from Mason Music’s talented student Rock Band Leagues will kick off the day. Show-stopping performances by Jackson Capps, Anna Grace Beatty, and Kate and the Howlers will round out the festival.
Olmsted Park & Playground will be home to the Kid’s Park. With inflatables, rides, face painting, and the playground, the Kid’s Park will be fun for all children.
Artisan vendors, with several focusing on children’s clothing and toys, will also set up along Olmsted Street in front of park.
Discover the quality materials, craftsman styling and exceptional detail in Mt Laurel’s newest homes. From Olmsted Park, festival goers can take a short walk to Mt Laurel’s newly furnished Leatherwood Model Home. Tour this gorgeous craftsman style home at 324 Olmsted Street and then pick up a map to find additional open homes.
The Designer Showcase Model Home at 110 Elyton Drive will be open for tours, as well as two new homes on Nolen Street featuring the Magnolia II and Olmsted II floorplan.
