Beanie Virginia Weaver Frye Echols
Beanie Virginia Weaver Frye Echols, 82, of Shelby County, passed away at home Saturday, Feb. 25.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1935 at home in Washington County to William Weaver and Dinah Snow Weaver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cam August Frye, Sr.; husband, Farris Echols; son, Mack Troy Frye; brothers, Autrey Weaver and Herman Weaver; sisters-in-law, Vanella Weaver and Virginia Weaver; brothers-in-law, George Frye, James Frye, John Frye and Cooper Reed; mother-in-law, Goldie Frye; father-in-law, George Frye; and sons-in-law, Greg Stone and Cecil Harris.
Surviving are sons, Cam August Frye, Jr., Shelby County, Wayne Frye (Debra), Shelby County, and John Frye (Martha) of Chilton County; daughters, Ann Stone of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kathy Harris of Shelby County, and Elizabeth Cooper of Jefferson County; stepsons, Charles Frye, John Haddakin (Angela) of Tennessee, Joseph Haddakin of Tennessee, and Justin Haddakin (Keri) of Missouri; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Dugger Weaver; sister, Nellie Reed; and partner, Joseph Haddakin, Sr.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 10 at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., with her memorial service to begin at 12 p.m. A private burial will follow at Montevallo City Cemetery.
