PELHAM – A new convention, CAMPiCON, will be making a stop in Oak Mountain State Park June 15-17.

The event will include camping, gaming, comics, anime, sci-fi, cos play, tournaments, vendors, live music, food trucks and more. Tournaments include the Green Arrow Archery Tournament and Dragon Ball Z, Call of Duty and Super Smash Bros. video game tourneys.

Those who attend will have an opportunity to win cash prizes, merchandise and gift cards. OMSP will be “geeking out on some serious Con magic,” according to event’s website.

Tickets range in price from $15 for a day pass to $400 for RV accommodations and weekend passes for five or more people.
