Melvin Wade Tate, age 86, of Sumiton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6.
The graveside service was held Monday, Feb. 12 at 11:45 a.m. at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
Bolton Funeral Home directed.
Mr. Tate served in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Judie Tate; son, Wade; step daughters, Cindy Merrell, Rhonda Brazil (Mike), Denissa Merrell, and Lori Roberts; and three grandchildren.
