PELHAM – In preparation for the opening of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Shelby County in April, the hospital will host a job fair and leadership meet-and-greet event on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The first session will occur from 8:30-11 a.m. and the second session will be held from 5-8 p.m.

The event will be held at the Holiday Inn Express at 260 Cahaba Valley Road in Pelham.

Leadership will hold on-site interviews for a variety of positions including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, registered nurse – full time nights, case managers, dietitians, clinical marketing liaisons, admissions nurses, charge nurses, patient care assistants, nutrition aides, housekeeping, cooks, HIMs coder and accounts payable. Interested applicants should bring updated copies of their resumes to the event.

In addition to on-site interviews, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Encompass Health Shelby County’s services and benefits.

Encompass Health Shelby County, a 34-bed inpatient physical rehabilitation hospital, is currently under construction at 900 Oak Mountain Commons Lane in Pelham. The hospital will serve patients who are recovering from conditions such as stroke and other neurological disorders, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, complex orthopedic conditions and cardiac and pulmonary conditions.
