William “Wild Bill” Albert Hardy, age 69 of Harpersville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 21 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

Services will be held Friday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 25 from 5-8 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel.

Mr. Hardy is survived by his wife, Myra “Susie” Hardy; son, John Paul Hardy (Misty); daughters, Kathy Abbott (Greg), Carolyn Gallups (Shane) and Jordan “Gabby” Hardy (Harley); sister, Frances Carolyn Hardy; grandchildren, Justin Abbott (Victoria) , Tyler Abbott, Chris Abbott, Chelsea Doss (Taylor), Summer Gallups, Kloe Gallups, Madeline Hardy, Johnathan Hodgens, Mathew Sims (Bretney), Trena Wells, Timothy Martin; and great grandchildren, Bryce Doss, Audrey Abbott, Khyan McNeal, Derek Sims, Cayson Sims, Austen “AJ’ Hardy.

Mr. Hardy was preceded in death by his parents, Ocie A. and Lodell Hardy.
