HELENA–The Helena Athletic Association, an organization which exists to support all Helena athletics by raising funds to support athletic programs at all levels, will host an inaugural event in early February.
The Helena Athletic Association will host the inaugural Father-Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Helena Sports Complex, with all proceeds benefitting Helena school athletics.
The association will host two separate dances based on age groups. The first father-daughter dance will be from 3-5 p.m. for girls in kindergarten through second grade. The second dance will be from 6-8 p.m. for girls in third through fifth grade.
There will be plenty of music, fun, light refreshments and of course dancing, as girls are encouraged to wear a party dress or their Sunday best.
The cost of the dance is $35 and a $15 charge per additional daughter that attends the dance.
Fathers are encouraged to bring cash to the dance for pictures with special surprise guests.
The Helena Athletic Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose mission is to raise funds to support Helena’s entire student athletic program. Kids from elementary school through high school will benefit, according to the association’s mission statement.
