Charles Wayne Overton, age 65, born in Pell City, and a resident of Bay Minette, died Thursday, Jan. 9 at Mobile Infirmary.

He was a salesman at Chuck Stevens Automotive.

He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Barnes of Kimberly; two brothers, Mike Alan Overton of Wilsonville and Richard Barry Overton of Sterrett; two sisters, Elaine O. (Steve) Bulger of Florala and Serrennie Marie (Randy) Crim of West Blocton; nieces, Michelle Jackson, Tracy Ensminger, Joni Overton and Amanda Bulger; and nephew, Michael Overton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Denver and Lottie Pearl Singleton Overton, and a brother, Denver Clayton Overton.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 13 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Glen A. Whitfield, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 13 from 9-11 a.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the youth Advocate Program, 122 6^th Avenue, Andalusia, AL 36421.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Singleton, Charles Singleton, Sr., John Pipkin, George Singleton, Bryan Bulger and Mike Overton.
