Sarah Jane Horton Moody, 81, of Maryville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, Jan. 4 at home.

Sarah was born on March 29, 1936 in Dogwood, Shelby County.

She is preceded in death by her parents, M.C. and Viola Smith; spouses, Rece Horton and William Moody; daughters, Deborah Phillips and Tracy Bynum; as well as 4 grandchildren.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Vicky Seitz (Duane); grandchildren,

Johnny Jr., Timothy, Cindy, Lisa, Jonathan, Charles, Sarah and Paul; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Nicholson and Gracie Hall; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sarah was a loving mother and grandmother.

There will be a graveside service at a later date in Livingston, Texas.
