Louise D. Allen, age 96, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3.

She is survived by her son, Greg Allen (Nancy); two grandchildren, David Allen (Suzy) and Amy Bailey (Scott); and great-grandchildren, Grant Holtam, Madeline Mitchell Bailey, Emily Allen and Matthew Allen. She is also survived be many dear and much loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Allen; father, John H. Daniel; mother, Etta Guy Daniel; brothers, Melvin Daniel and Lowell Daniel; sister, Lillian Varner; and one son, David Paul Allen.

She worked for E. I. Dupont Co. Later, she and Milton owned and operated Service Cleaners & Laundry for 22 years.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 6 at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) from 9:30-11 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. A private burial will be held at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
