Mr. John L. Phillips of Montevallo, age 63, passed away Friday, Dec. 15.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Jean (Boothe) Phillips; his daughters, Tracey Phillips (Jerry) and Kristy Bell (Willie); brothers, Allan Phillips, Joey Phillips (Dawn), and Jack Gordon; grandsons, Matthew Phillips, Christopher Bell, and Camden Phillips; and granddaughter, Madison Bell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Little Phillips and Clara Bell (Genry) Phillips; his brother, Rickey Phillips; and his aunt, Louise Goggins.

There will be a visitation Tuesday, Dec. 19 at Aldrich Assembly from 6-8 p.m. Service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m., also at Aldrich Assembly.
