Mrs. Virginia Nell Lambert, age 88 of Vincent, passed away Thursday, Nov. 16 at Columbiana Health and Rehab.

Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Lambert will be Saturday, Nov. 18 at 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Vincent. Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 18 at the church from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Rev. Mika Marcum, Rev. Daryl Wood and Rev. Jerry Baker will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Vincent Cemetery.

Survivors are her daughters, Carol Lambert Hyche and husband Frank of Pell City, Pamela Lambert Baker and Jerry of Harpersville and Debbie Lambert Riley of Mt. Olive; brothers, Lee E. Bowden of Gadsden and Willard Bowden of Cartersville, Georgia; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her husband, J.K Lambert, and sister, Ruth Whitten.

Mrs. Lambert was a member of First Baptist Church of Vincent. She was very active in numerous civic organizations.

Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.
