ALABASTER –Locals will have a chance to enjoy the Halloween season while perusing local vendors and even a trick-or-treat trail at Buck Creek Park in late October.
Alabaster’s ninth-annual Fall Fest, which is sponsored by the Alabaster Parks and Recreation Department, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Buck Creek Trail near the Alabaster Senior Center and City Hall off 11th Avenue Southwest.
Fall Fest, which has been held in the city since 2009, will feature arts and crafts vendors, a trick-or-treat trail for children staffed by local volunteers, carnival rides for kids, hay rides, inflatable games, live music from the local band 2Blu and the Lucky Stiffs, food vendors and more.
Parking will be available at Buck Creek Park at 701 Sixth Ave. S.W. or off 11th Avenue near the Alabaster Senior Center and City Hall.
While the event is free to attend, organizers are encouraging attendees to bring money to use for vendor purchases while at the Fall Fest.
Because the event typically falls a few days before Halloween, attendees are encouraged to don their costumes for the festival.
