Garlie Calbert “Bert” Davis, Sr., age 73, of Columbiana, passed away Friday, Oct. 13.

The visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Springs Cemetery.

Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, Garlie Ernest Davis and Beadie Joiner Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Elaine Benson Davis; children, Garlie Calbert Davis, Jr. “Cal” (Amy), Michael Brandon Davis, and Misty Elaine Davis Edmondson (Jason); grandchildren, Jonathan Kemp Davis, Andrew Benson Davis, and Rhett Embry Edmondson; sisters, Emogene Dennis (Bill), Marie Moore (David), Betty Battle (Johnny), Florence Crawford (Mike), and Jerry Adaway; and numerous nieces and nephews.
