Lloyd Batson, age 59, of Chelsea, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23.

The visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28 at Chelsea Church of God. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28 at the church with Rev. Mike Kiker officiating.

Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Batson is survived by his wife, Denise S. Batson; sons, Stephen Batson, Jason Batson (Amanda), and Hayden Carson; daughters, Gabrielle Batson and Tiffany Carson; mom, Frances Batson; grandchildren, Jaiden Vick, Kailey Batson, and Brianna Batson; brothers, Thomas Wayne Batson, Clark Turner (Carol), Jimmy Batson (Tammy), Kenneth Batson (Darlene), and James Batson; sisters, Rose Batson Dennis), Violet Milam (Tim), Anne Haynes (Terry), and Tammy Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
