PELHAM – The Alabama Fair is set for Friday, Sept. 29, through Sunday, Oct. 8 at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Pelham. According to the fair’s website, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy over 40 carnival rides, 30 special events and food from 20 concession stands for 10 days.

The Alabama fair will feature various attractions, including the “World of Wonder Escape Show,” the “Kids Comedy Magic Show,” pig races, a petting zoo and more.

Live music will be provided by Jack Russell’s Great White, Bellamy Brothers, Montez De Durango, the Robert Abernathy Band, the BJ Wilbanks Band, Shallow Side, the Georgia Shine Band, the Matt Bennett Band and Johnathan East during several nights.

Tickets cost $10 for adults ages 13-59 and $5 for children under the age of 12, senior adults over the age of 60 and military personnel with an ID. Ride passes are $25 each. On Oct. 3, unlimited rides can be purchased for $10 and rides and food will be $2 each on Oct. 5.
