PELHAM – Lake Homes Realty recently made the list of the top 5,000 fastest-growing companies in an annual ranking published by Inc. Magazine. Lake Homes was the highest ranked Birmingham-area company to make the list.

Lake Homes Realty, which is headquartered in Pelham, landed in the top fifth of the 2017 list, at number 927, courtesy of its three-year growth of 473 percent. This was the first year the company was eligible for inclusion in Inc.’s analysis.

Lake Homes was the only Birmingham-area company to make the top 1,000, and was the eighth-highest ranked of the 59 Alabama companies on the Top 5,000 list.

Nationally, Lake Homes Realty was the ninth-fastest growing multistate real estate brokerage.

Phillips has previously been honored by the Greater Shelby Chamber of Commerce and is a Birmingham Business Journal “Top 40 Under 40” alumnus.

Lake Homes Realty placed in the top 10 of the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Fast Track 30” in both 2015 and 2016.

During the three-year analysis period used to create Inc. Magazine’s latest rankings, Lake Homes Realty’s operations expanded from four to 10 states across the south and southwest. The company moved into the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions this year with the addition of New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
