Helena Waffle House to open in September, hiring all positions

HELENA–Waffle House, a well-known restaurant that stands out for its hearty breakfast meals and 24 hours a day, 365 days a year hours, will be opening its newest location in Helena in the coming months.
The location of the new Waffle House restaurant has broke ground and will be located on Shelby County 261 behind Avadian Credit Union near Shelby County 52 in Helena.
Headquartered in Norcross, Georgia, Waffle House operates more than 1,500 restaurants company and franchisee owned, according to the company. The restaurant also holds the title as “the world’s leading server of waffles, omelets, T-bone steaks and more.”
Heather Evans, Waffle House recruiter who helps oversee the training and hiring at several Waffle House locations throughout the Birmingham area, said the Helena Waffle House is expected to open “sometime in September” but the company is looking to hire candidates now for a variety of positions.
The restaurant is currently accepting applications for cooks and servers that include compensation and benefits.
Accepted applicants will be paid cash weekly or by direct deposit. Options for medical, dental and life insurance are available as well as Waffle House stock ownership and two weeks paid vacation time.
Evans said the Helena Waffle House will be her 12th store overall to help oversee training and hiring.
“Those who apply for the job in Helena will have hands-on training at the other Waffle House stores in the area before they actually start working in Helena,” Evans said. “I will help them through the hiring and training process before they begin working in Helena.”
Waffle House menu items includes many American favorites such as eggs, bacon, hash browns, waffles, ham, sausage, burgers, patty melts, T-bone steak and more.
