Funeral service for Betty Sanders Godfrey, age 76, will be held Monday, June 26 at 1 p.m. from the Providence Bapt Church in Harpersville. Interment will be at the Harpersville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, June 26 from 12:30-1 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Godfrey passed away Thursday, June 22.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney A Godfrey; her sister, Janice Whitehead; and nieces and nephews, Sadler Sanders (Jill), Shane Sanders (Yocey), Michael Boddie (Amy), Keith Sanders, and Pamela Bassett (Gary).

She is preceded in death by her parents, Euell and Annie Sanders; her brothers, Robert and James Sanders; and her nephew, Steven Whitehead
